FAQs

We’ve heard it all — here’s what people are really asking behind the scenes.

What does "ground-to-ground" mean, and is this robot right for my operation?

Ground-to-ground means the PSR G2G picks open pallets from floor level and deposits them at another floor-level location. It does not stack into racks. It's ideal for horizontal pallet movement between inbound docks, staging zones, production lines, and dispatch areas without needing racking infrastructure.

Can the PSR G2G handle closed pallets?

No. The PSR G2G is designed specifically for open deck pallets, where the fork can engage from below at ground level. Closed deck pallets, which have a solid base with no accessible gap for floor-level fork entry, require rack-level engagement. For closed pallet operations, look at the PSR 1000R or PSR 2000R.

What makes the PSR G2G different from a simple AGV pallet mover?

Unlike traditional AGVs which follow fixed, predetermined paths and stop in place when blocked, AMRs like the PSR G2G navigate autonomously and route around obstacles in real time. This makes it far more adaptable in busy, changing warehouse environments without the need to reprogramme fixed routes.

How many PSR G2G units do we need for our facility?

That depends on your throughput requirements, floor distance between pickup and drop points, and cycle time targets. ANSCER's solutions team maps your material flow and calculates the fleet size needed to meet your throughput with the right utilization rate. Typically, fleet sizing is done as part of a pre-deployment site assessment.
