FAQs

We’ve heard it all — here’s what people are really asking behind the scenes.

What is the AR 1250 designed for and who typically uses it?

The AR 1250 is ANSCER's highest-capacity modular AMR, designed for heavy-duty material transport up to 1250 kg. It is typically used in automotive, manufacturing, 3PL, and heavy industry environments where large trolleys, loaded pallets, or heavy unit loads need to move autonomously across a facility without forklift dependency.

What applications can the AR 1250 handle with its top modules?

The AR 1250 supports shelf lifter and pallet lifter modules for autonomous trolley lifting and transport, belt and roller conveyor modules for heavy carton and tote transfer, auto and manual tugger modules for single and multi-trolley material flow, and a custom unit load module for gentle handling of heavy rack-style structures.

Can the AR 1250 be used in areas where forklifts are not allowed?

Yes, and this is one of its strongest use cases. In manufacturing environments where forklifts are restricted due to safety risks  narrow aisles, pedestrian-heavy zones, cleanrooms, or assembly areas  the AR 1250 is an ideal alternative for moving heavy loads autonomously. Note that the AR 1250 does not pick up pallets directly from the floor; loads need to be presented on trolleys or compatible fixtures for the robot to engage and transport them.

How difficult is it to scale from one AR 1250 to a larger fleet?

Scaling is straightforward. ANSCER Fleet manages multiple AR 1250 units from a single interface, handling task dispatch, traffic management, and route optimization across the fleet. Adding robots does not require replanning your facility the fleet software adapts as more units are commissioned.
